THINK ABOUT THAT

Think about what happens to the things you've used and thrown out. Are they burnt? Are they stocked, waiting until scientists find a way to destroy them with no damages to the environment? Can they be recycled? It's easy to realize that glass can be melt and reformed into new bottles, that PET can be transformed into new plastic containers (or even clothes!), but thinking of innertubes turning into nice, trendy bags is a new step.

Wearing a HUM1 bag is also thinking about reducing waste. Think about that!

Qu'est-ce donc? / What's HUM1?

HUM1, à prononcer "humain" en français est une marque d'articles éthiques, écologiques et faits mains en Suisse. HUM1, c'est des sacs, des ceintures et des porte-monnaies créés à partir de chambres-à-air usagées et recyclées.
Une part des bénéfices de HUM1 sont versés à l'association Humanisma (www.humanisma.org).

HUM1, to be read almost like "human" but hum-one (in french both words sound the same), is a swiss ethical, ecological and trendy brand of items created with recycled innertubes. HUM1 is a variety of handbags, pouches, belts and wallets, all made by hand, re-using old materials. HUM1 gives part of its benefits to Humanisma, which helps a village in Cameroun.
